Things to focus on after

Stay connected to outside. Feel wind rain cold dirt gravity the ground under my feet. Keep windows open, dress to stay out doors. Remember how the soft world smells. Be outside for a morning or evening transition in the fog.  Learn more names of plants and animals. Be barefoot more often.  Focus on retiring at the beach; spend lots of time in cold water and salt water and salt wind.  Go full days forgetting to look in the mirror.  Spend time with people who know who I should be. Use my body to churn my mind into action.

Angels Rest

Angels Rest

On Sunday I hiked up Angels Rest with my cousin. It got me thinking about how much better life would be if I didn't have to work and I could go outside to play every day.

Blue nails.

I am addicted to Pinterest and need to take a few days away I think. It would be a good idea for me to take a complete electronic break and power down entirely for a week.
I want Matt to help me build a back yard mini house/pottingshed.

Best pasta ever.

2 tomatoes chopped
2 cups grape tomatoes cut in half
1/2 cup fresh basil chopped
1/4 cup green onions chopped
2 avocados diced
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Mixup the above and serve cold over hot drained pasta. Call yourself a kitchen genius and move on.

The animal

Today we received a visit from the UPS man. He brought us a Dyson Animal vacuum. It's the Dyson ball vac that is tuned specifically the pet dander and hair. It has a heppa filter in it and it's purple. It's also mine! my roo bought it for me as a house warming gift. Soo over generous! I'm so excited about my new house!

Kim and I started running today. It wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. We went from her house to mine and back. Just about three miles. The neighborhood up above the house is really nice. It will be Great for walking Digsby!

Pretending to be grown up

I am 30 and I am pretending to be grown up. I think everyone is pretending. That is the big secret they never explain to kids.

I am also a blog addict.

This is post number one, a test post.

I want to watch less tv and I wish I was at the beach every day.

I am buying a house.

I am caring for two parents, one who will last the year and one who won't.

I have siblings, things I need, things I want, and a great big super awesome dog who bites when you aren't on the guest list.

I want to include pictures, crafting, sewing, life, my house, goals, truths, lies, lists and challenges.

I hope I can at least entertain myself with this blog.
